Policy statement

As an international Recruitment consultancy and staffing agency, the collecting and processing of personal data is fundamental to our business; however we are committed to only doing so in a secure and professional manner that respects the privacy of our candidates and those who use our website.

The purpose of this document is to set out our policies on the collection and use of personal data.

Aldelia Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller under the Data Protection Act 1998.

Data we collect

In the course of our business, we may collect and process different types of data about you:

  • If we are in contact with you, we may keep a record of correspondence between you and Aldelia
  • If you provide information through our site, including your CV and other details entered into a form on the site, we may keep this information
  • If we ask you to complete surveys or questionnaires from time to time, we may keep the information you supply, but you would not be obliged to answer such surveys or questionnaires
  • Details of your visits to our site and what you do on it may be recorded (see “use of cookies” below)
  • Copies of your qualifications and/or other personal documents that we may ask you to provide so that we can present you as a Candidate to one of our clients(see “use of data” below, we will only present you/your data to a Client with your permission)

Use of Data

We use information held about you:

  • to ensure that content from our web site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer
  • to keep you updated about positions that match your search criteria or we feel may be of interest to you
  • to allow you to log in to our site and use features of our service if you choose to do so;
  • To let you know from time to time about changes to our services.

We may disclose your personal information to other members of the Aldelia Group, meaning any subsidiaries, any ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries (as defined in section 736 of the UK Company Act 198.)

Where we have your permission, we will disclose your data to our clients for the purposes of finding you a position.

Use of Cookies

Analytics: This is a small cookie that allows the site owner to check which pages are the most popular on the site and this aim to provide more site content that is popular to users. It contains no personal or private data at all and is used on millions of websites worldwide.

Remember Me: This is used when you ask the system to remember your login and stores the email address you use to login only.

Shortlist: This is used to be able to remember jobs you place in your short-list, and is classed as essential to the site functionality and thus can be stored regardless of your selection to ensure the site works. However we wanted to bring this to your attention as we are keen not to hide anything from you.
